Every day was an adventure for BGC Dovercourt Club members this summer. As the Club moved into another year of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve become stronger, more resilient and creative in supporting our community and hosting programming.
This year, the Club hosted Fun In The Sun Dovercourt Adventure Camp at two different sites. One at its main location (180 Westmoreland Avenue) and another at Carleton Village Junior and Senior Sports and Wellness Academy for its satellite location, Junction Triangle Clubhouse (JTC).
During camp, the Club organized special event days like ice cream days, a barbecue lunch courtesy of Loblaws (Dundas and Bloor) and provided nutritious snacks thanks to PC Children’s Charity. We didn’t stop here. Summer camp staff and administration worked diligently to organize additional programs and activities. This included online Math Tutoring and the Teaching Garden Program. Special consideration was placed on developing and implementing policies and operational procedures to ensure the Club was safe for programs.
Thank you to our Summer camp staff and administration team for helping facilitate summer camp this year.
We hope new and current members had a positive experience at our summer camp. If you would like to share feedback or comments, please reach out to us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope to see you next year!
